Location
Unquomonk Town Water Land
Join us on a walk at Williamsburg Town Water Department land with Licensed Forester Ry Patton (Bay State Forestry) and Hilltown Land Trust land stewardship staff to look at the dynamics of the forest and think about ways to increase its resilience in the face of climate change and bigger storms. We’ll talk about what goes into an initial assessment of forest land, and why you might want to talk to a licensed forester yourself.
This is the first in a series of educational land walks. Stay tuned for an announcement about the next public land walk coming soon!
This series is part of the Resilient Upper Mill River Watershed Project in Williamsburg funded through the Commonwealth’s Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness (MVP) program.
COST: Free to the public
AGES: Adult
