“Forest resilience” is a big buzzword right now, especially in the face of climate change. But what does a resilient forest – or farm or field – really look like?
Licensed Forester Lincoln Fish of Bay State Forestry has spent decades tending the land at the Ouimets’ farm in Williamsburg, and will give a tour of the land alongside Bethany Ouimet and Hilltown Land Trust staff. Curious about what a forest management plan can do for your land? Want to learn more about forest health? Eager to look at forests with a new perspective? This free walk is for you!
This series is part of the Resilient Upper Mill River Watershed Project in Williamsburg funded through the Commonwealth’s Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness (MVP) program.
