Join Hilltown Land Trust for a hike at Round Top Hill in Chester, MA from 2-4 pm on Friday, May 13th. In addition to scenic views from the 5th highest peak in Massachusetts, this property boasts seasonal wildflowers and a shagbark hickory forest!
Access Notes
Round Hill Trail (~0.5 miles) blazed in orange is a moderate-grade, wooded trail with one steep section of rock hopping. Including the 0.5-mile road walk from the parking lot, we will hike for appx. 2 miles round trip at the pace of the slowest member of our group. We will have plenty of breaks for water and catching our breath. Restroom facilities are not available on this hike. Public transport is not available in this area.

Directions
We will meet at the cemetery at the intersection of Round Hill Road and Park Knox Road in Chester, MA. Take Route 20 or Route 23 to Blandford Road in Chester (do not take Round Hill Road from route 20) turn onto Round Hill Road (Blandford Town Line side), and park at the cemetery at the intersection. More detailed directions will be included in the confirmation email.
