What role does carbon play in the forest? And what impact do forest conservation and management have on carbon storage within a forested landscape?
Learn about these issues and more in a free webinar on Tuesday, April 28th, at 4:30 PM with Dr. Paul Catanzaro of UMass Amherst and Hilltown Land Trust. Paul will share insights on his research about forest carbon storage and Sally Loomis, HLT’s Executive Director, will speak about forest land conservation and the organization’s approach to forest management as a whole.
Paul is an Associate Professor and State Extension Forester at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He teaches courses in the Forest Ecology and Conservation concentration and is co-Director of the Family Forest Research Center, a partnership of the USDA Forest Service and UMass Amherst.
