Tyler has lead walks for the Hitchcock Center for the Environment and Community Involved in Sustaining Agriculture, among others. Join him and learn about foraging for mushrooms in the wild. Tyler will share stories gleaned over his years of interacting with both professional and amateur mycologists. During the talk Tyler will cover mushroom basics and guidelines for their safe study and responsible harvest. During the walk you will get an opportunity to search for wild mushrooms and discover which are safe to eat and what should be avoided.
